First Poem! (on here, anyway)

Yey, so I just made this poem like two days ago. For some reason, the beach was on my mind, so I wrote this short little thing. Hope you enjoy!





Silver Horizon

Set our eyes to the distant stars
Wishful thinking that makes us happy
Hand in hand, the smooth splash
Purple and green waves dance around
Earth comes and goes,
Weeping with fluid motion, never ceasing
Breeze of summer tickles their faces
But the sun won't leave, not now
Silver Horizon, ever so pretty
But so very out of reach,
Only in our imagination
Reach out and grab the crisp of reality
Between two worlds, so much unseen
Let the light fill your eyes
Don't look away,
Or it shall leave you before you may return
Dance under gleaming stars
Dangling almost within a reach,
Yet so very far away
Only if you believe what cannot be
Will you try something you haven't done?
The ends of the universe are at your fingertips
All you have to do is
Believe.
